چکیده

The process capability and performance analysis has become an inevitable step in quality management of modern industrial processes. The objective of the study was to estimate the current process performance, in order to provide accurate information for the customer, for performance benchmarking and for the process improvement. In case of data that do not obey normal distribution, the key issue in this analysis was to obtain correct estimate of process performance. This is successfully accomplished by using performance indices calculation based on Clements’ percentile method.

Capability Indices for Rayleigh Process

Monitoring, control and improvement of quality are  important  for companies.  Process capability indices (PCIs) are tools widely used by the industries to determine  the quality of their products and the performance of their manufacturing processes. Classic versions of  these  indices were constructed for processes whose quality characteristics have  a  normal distribution. But, many of these ...

طراحی یک سیستم فازی بعنوان جایگزینی برای نمودار کنترل مشاهدات انفرادی

Shewhart charts are the main tools for statistical process control. They are used for detecting assignable causes which affect quality of process output. From them, X and MR charts are two univariate control charts for monitoring mean and variation of measurable quality characteristics. The main drawbacks of these charts are: weakness of X chart against non-normal distribution of process data,...

Is it necessarily a normally distributed data for kriging? A case study: soil salinity map of Ghahab area, central Iran

After collecting data, in researches, the type of data distribution must be determined; since any analysis requires the distribution of its own data. Soil properties, such as salinity, are also the same case. Due to its direct and indirect effects on plant growth, soil salinity is an important feature that has always been investigated in agriculture and natural resources, leading to a lot of re...

An Adapted Non-dominated Sorting Algorithm (ANSA) for Solving Multi Objective Trip Distribution Problem

Trip distribution deals with estimation of trips distributed among origins and destinations and is one of the important stages in transportation planning. Since in the real world, trip distribution models often have more than one objective, multi-objective models are developed to cope with a set of conflict goals in this area. In a proposed method of adapted non-dominated sorting algorithm (ANS...
